Friends of Straus Park, a neighborhood association, is the steward of a lovely memorial park dedicated to honoring the memory of Isidor and Ida Straus. It is located on West 106th Street between Broadway and West End Avenue. Friends of Straus Park maintains the park's infrastructure, cleanliness, and natural beauty while programming events for the community yearlong. All of this work is supported by donations and the efforts of volunteers.
Speakers include local politicians, a naval historian, and FoSP leadership. There will also be a table with information about volunteering and donations.
