A Reminder: Witnesses of the Past was originally published in German. It was translated into English by Frank and Sue Kahn and published by SHS in 2007. This book describes the history of the Jews in several small towns in the Rheinpfalz area of Germany. A large section contains complete information and photographs (including translations from Hebrew) of the Mehlingen Cemetery where many Jews from the area are buried including members of the Straus family. A table also notes the information taken from each tombstone.
